FAQ

Your answer may already be here

Does a foreign founder need to be present in China to register a company?
In most regions, no. We can act under a power of attorney with notarised and apostilled identity documents. Some banks still require the legal representative to appear in person for account opening — we confirm this up front and arrange it.
How long does it take to set up a company?
With complete documents, the business licence is usually issued in 3–7 working days; bank account opening takes 1–2 weeks; tax registration and invoice quota approval run in parallel. Timings differ by region — see the region page for local estimates.
What do I need to qualify for export tax refunds?
In short: general VAT taxpayer status, compliant purchase invoices, complete export declarations and foreign-exchange receipts, and consistency between goods flow and invoice flow. We run a refund feasibility review before recommending you proceed.
How is a WFOE taxed differently from a domestic company?
At setup, foreign investors need commerce filing / information reporting and FX registration. Day-to-day taxes are broadly the same, but related-party transactions, royalties and dividend remittance add treaty-relief and transfer-pricing considerations.
How is bookkeeping priced?
By taxpayer type, document volume and complexity. Small-scale taxpayers are usually billed annually, general VAT taxpayers monthly. After we assess your volume you get a fixed quote — no per-entry surcharges.
Can I ask first and decide later?
Yes. The initial consultation is free and carries no obligation, and we will tell you honestly which items you can handle yourself.
